Cadence Tri Membership Rules

Cadence Tri is fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of all its members. The club believes that it is important that members should, at all times, show respect and understanding for the safety and welfare of others. Therefore, members are encouraged to be open at all times and to share any concerns or complaints that they may have about any aspect of the club with Mark or Christine White.


As a member of Cadence Tri you are expected to observe/abide by the following member’s rules/code of conduct:


  1. Cadence Tri operates a single club policy for membership. We cannot accept applications for membership where people are associate or 2nd claim members of other Triathlon Teams/Clubs. This includes virtual clubs. This policy does not apply to running/cycling clubs where the team is not affiliated to British Triathlon and does not have members competing in triathlon/duathlon/aquathon. . We do not offer associate or 2nd claim membership. External sponsorship is only acceptable where it does not conflict with Cadence Tri sponsors.

  2. All members are expected to race in the name of the club and ideally in team clothing.

  3. Members agree not to bring the Club/Sponsors into disrepute. All incidents will be considered individually which may result in membership being terminated.

  4. All members must compete within the rules of any governing body, respect officials and their decisions.

  5. All members must respect the rights, dignity and worth of all participants regardless of gender, ability, cultural background or religion.

  6. Members must support and encourage good practice, fair play and correct actions at all times

  7. Membership fees must be paid by 5 January each year - currently £15 per annum. These fees are refundable to all club coaches.

  8. Members must abide by the rules and articles of British Triathlon.
