The Buckley Aquathlon is the first training race of a combined club effort to re-establish junior racing in North Wales. The event is open to any North Wales Triathlon or Swim Club member and is free of charge. The event will be timed but the aim is to have fun, get back into racing mixed up with some friendly rivalry. We have not put the event through the BTF permitting process as it multiplies the prepation and on-the-day work 3 fold and would mean that we couldn't open it up so widely as FOC. Rest assured though, all risk assessments, safeguarding practices and insurance wil be in place in line with our normal training sessions. To run theses events we will of course need some help with marshalling, course set up etc. - don't worry no special skills are required! Tri Star 1 9-10 yrs* 150m swim 1.2 km  run

Tri Star 2 11-12 yrs* 250m swim  2 km  run

Tri Star 3 13 - 14 yrs* 400m swim 3 km  run

Youths 15 - 16 yrs* 400m Swim 4 km run

*age as at 31/12/22 - Note: minimum age is 6 on the day of the events
