The Marsh Tracks Duathlon is the second training race of a combined club effort to re-establish junior racing in North Wales. The event is open to all current and aspiring triathles from Minis (age 6 to 7) through to Youth (age 15 to 16). We also have a come and 'Tri' it race for those cyclists/runners who fancy giving a duathlon a go but with shorter race distances. The event will be timed (full results within 1 minute of last finisher) but the aim is to have fun, get back into racing mixed up with some friendly rivalry. Duathlons add the extra excitement of a mass start for each age group so first across the line wins! Every finisher will also receive a rather super medal!

We have not put the event through the BTF permitting process as it multiplies the prepation and on-the-day work 3 fold but  be rest assured that all risk assessments, safeguarding practices and insurance wil be in place in line with our normal training sessions. To run theses events we will of course need some help with marshalling, course set up etc. - don't worry no special skills are required! Mini's  6-7* years on day of event Run - 150m Bike 750m Run 150m

Tristarts Age 8* - Run - 400m Bike 1.5km Run 200m

Tri Star 1 9-10 yrs* - Run - 800m Bike 3km Run 300m

Tri Star 2 11-12 yrs* - Run - 1600m Bike 4.5km Run 600m

Tri Star 3 13 - 14 yrs* - Run - 2000m Bike 6km Run 600m

Youths 15 - 16 yrs* - Run - 2400m Bike 6km Run 600m

*age as at 31/12/22

Juniors are welcome to enter the 'normal' race distances or can enter the taster below

Duathlon Taster -  Run - 400m Bike - 2.25km Run 200m (min age 10 on day of event)

Entry Fees - Cheap as chips (almost!) - £5 for minis, tristarts and taster and £9.50 for all other categories.
