The 1st of hopefully many club bike rides run by Marianne. The ride leaves Buckley Leisure Centre at 9am for a 22 mile ride incorporating a cafe stop at the Old Chapel in Saltney. Suitable for all abilities with a gentle average speedof around 13-14 mph. Full route details can be found here:

Tips for the day:

• Check that your bike is roadworthy!! Brakes work, tyres pumped up and all your nuts and bolts are tight!
• Bring a spare inner tube, pump, tyre levers and a multitool if you have one
• Bring a drink
• Bike lock for the stop
• Make sure you can be seen. Flashy rear lights really make a difference even during the day and they're only a few quid. The brighter your clothing the better!
• A few quid for tea and cake - you will have earned it!
