Cadence Tri Junior Triathlon Team

The Junior Team caters for children from age 8 to 14 and for  youths and junior from age 15 to 19. From age 8 to 12 the focus is on sport with fun.  The older children follow a more performance specific session which complements the British Triathlon pathway standards but have plenty of fun elements incorporated.


​We run a 2 one and a quarter hour sessions every week taing place on a Wednesday (6.00pm to 7.15) and on a Saturday (2.00 to 3.15) at Buckley Leisure Centre . Every session is structured to develop skills, stamina and speed.


Cycle and run training takes place at Marsh Tracks, Rhyl on alternate Sundays between 11.00 am and 12.30pm.


Throughout the year we have  "training" aquathons, duathlons and triathlons to prepare for the interclub and open events.

The club runs weekly open water swim sessions at Hope during the summer which the more profficient swimmers can take part in.
